What this site is
IntoConvert is a file converter for pictures, sound, video, and PDF pages. You pick a source type and a target type, upload one file, and download the result. The pages people search for, such as PNG to JPG, MP4 to GIF, and SVG to PNG, are real tools on this site, not descriptions of a tool that lives somewhere else.
Each conversion has its own address. PNG to JPG is /png-to-jpg. MP4 to GIF is /mp4-to-gif. SVG to PNG is /svg-to-png. Opening that address selects the pair before you drop the file.
Where the file goes
The file is uploaded to the IntoConvert server that is running this site. It is converted there and the temporary copy is removed after the download. Anything still left is cleared within an hour. The file is not forwarded to a separate conversion website.
One file at a time, up to 150 MB. Video work can take longer than a still image because the whole clip is decoded.
What IntoConvert does not do
IntoConvert reads HEIC photos and can write JPG or PNG. It cannot create a new HEIC file. A password-locked PDF cannot be opened. Turning a video into a GIF keeps at most 15 seconds. Animated GIF or WEBP saved as a still image keeps the first frame.
JPG and BMP have no transparency. If the source has a clear background, those pixels are filled with white.

- Is IntoConvert a PNG to JPG converter?
- Yes. Open /png-to-jpg, drop a PNG, and download the JPG. The same site converts MP4 to GIF, SVG to PNG, WEBP, HEIC, PDF, and audio.
- How long is the file kept?
- The temporary file is deleted after the download. Leftover files are removed within an hour.
- Can I convert HEIC back into HEIC?
- No. HEIC is accepted as an input. IntoConvert does not write HEIC.
